CBI trainee and faculty mentor pair win Diabetes Knowledge Award

CBI trainee Tim Horton and his faculty mentor Justin Annes, Asistant Professor of Medicine (Endocrinology), received the Diabetes Knowledge Award from the Stanford Diabetes Research Center (SDRC). The award recoginzes their research on selective delivery of regenerative drugs to beta cells as a novel treatment for diabetes, which was previously published in Cell Chemical Biology.This work was supported by a pilot grant from SDRC and an Endocrinology T32 training grant.
