First Annual ChEM-H Chemistry/Biology Interface Retreat

The First Annual ChEM-H Chemistry/Biology Interface Retreat took place on June 23, 2017 at Quadrus Conference Center in Menlo Park, CA. Over 70 graduate students, postdocs, and faculty members from the Stanford chemical biology community attended. CBI students in their second and third years of the program gave talks or posters on their research. A full list of presenters can be found in the CBI Retreat Program.

The event also included a keynote lecture by Kevan Shokat, Prof. of Cellular and Molecular Pharmacology at UCSF. The retreat concluded with a networking reception for the attendees and the presentation of Best Poster Award to postdoc Leonhard Moeckl from the Moerner group for his poster on "2D and 3D super-resolution imaging of the mammalian glycocalyx."
